J Thats where the idea came from

Apart from the obvious (Learn to draw, make your own sprites, stay in school, don't do drugs) the thing is cluttered and inconsistent. In some areas, the light is from the top, in some from the side, in others there's no light at all. The outlining between EVERY element of the sprite totally ruins the flow. The feet do not match up. The toes are not sharp. The outline keeps shifting between one pixel thickness and two. The outline is messy in general.

There's really no saving this thing. Redo it. If you can, then redo it from scratch, no base.

Unfortunatly, I got to agree with Evil on this... And please get rid of the white space.

Hey, it's not like I'm just spouting bullshit every entry. I know what I'm talking about, and there's a reason for that.

You're right on the white space.

I think it can be reworked with the quills, actually. It's not COMPLETELY hopeless, ya' know. The quills are really the only things I see that are really fucked up.

Also, Eval. Glad to see there's some truly hardcore critics out there again, really, I am. Still, this is probably going for mediocre at best. A sprite edit more than a custom. Less effort. See where I'm going?

It's alright, but the claws on the feet look messed up. I really do think that the quills should be fixed and the shading reworked.

Also you may want to change the bangs they just look really odd to me.

Second look tells me to tell you guys to disregard that, I suck cocks.

Okay?

@Comik Radd: Funny that, I've been banned 4 times. I got an email today from the admin. Apparently my form of criticism is considered harassment if enough people complain about it.

By the way, the name is Evilagram. To say the least, I had to reregister a few times.

That's the internet, man.

I think you do a pretty great job critiquing things. Hell, it's why I just joined this. Nobody ever really critiques my work hardcore... I intend to fix that.

About Demon Axe:Shading on the front part of the head is strange,
White/Grey/Whatever should be metal...For me.
Feet is messed up.
Body "Metals" are also messed up.Fix plz!

Evilagram,at the first time I saw you(I think it was here,on SS)I read your critics, and then I though "lol this guy is freaken' harsh!"
But now,I see you do a critic,that does help a lot.I don't hate you,Evil.
But you could be a little more nicer on the critics. That's all.
Kthx

Critiques. The word is critiques. Critic is a person, critique is a set of criticisms.

Yeah, I'm harsh. I'm known for that, and some people actually seek me out because I'm harsh. Because I can see every flaw, every mistake, and I know how to fix it.

The thing is, I'm not mean, I'm not nice. Unless you produce something good, I'm not going to compliment it.

In my view, if someone looks at your art, says, "Nice job", and walks off, he is basically saying that he's a brown noser who wants your approval of him but doesn't care enough to actually look at your art.

And with sprite editors, I see that far too often. It's like everyone came here just so they could get patted on the back without having to make anything of merit.

It's really sad.
