Arms a little off

body seems its missing something

other than that, it's a great improvement.

He looks too short

Reply cqclegoman, January 31st, 2010, 8:17 am

Short's my thing :c

As for C&C..he needs two arms, I know you're trying to hide the other arm behind him, but you could at least have a sleeve or something.

The pants seem weird, the areas where they 'fold' don't seem natural. And the colors on the shoes are kinda weird too.

Besides that, amazing job.

Agreed with cqc that he needs two arms.
Body seems a bit too forwarded and flat, like he's turning into a hunchback without the neck arch.
Shading seems different on the head then anywhere else (seems scattered), and the shoes have a different light direction then the pants/shirt.

You did fit the proportions pretty good though, even if he is short.

Solara Reviews The shading for the quills is everywhere
the right ear (it's right) looks too
pointed compared to the other ear

Quills look demented and are all over the place

the bang, thing, looks too unreal and the shading is messed up for it

The body leans forward too much for the second one. The Shirt shading is off by a lot and the jacket, thing ,shading is from a bad light source (looks like it's from the front, which isn't a reasonable light source.

like c-man said, the folds in the pants look too unnatural and don't mix well with the body shape. And he needs another arm

The light sources (yes, I said sources)for the pants and feet are shaded wrong and look too blocky with the shading technique you're using

the hand looks like a big ball that's connected to your arm, and it's going to the side of the pants and it doesn't look like you're making it go into a pocket
